Kate Mesic is an experienced and compassionate trial attorney with extensive experience in litigating both Criminal and Civil legal cases. Attorney Kate Mesic understands the benefits of settling cases before trial, as well as the costs involved both emotionally and financially for her clients.
Yekaterina “Kate” Mesic was born in Moscow, Russia. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1997 and settled in Jacksonville. She attended Wolfson High School and later graduated from the University of North Florida with the Highest Honors.
Kate attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor.
Kate Mesic is a graduate of the 2016 Leadership Jacksonville Class and currently serves on the Jacksonville Women's Business Center Advisory Board through the Jacksonville Chamber. Attorney Mesic is Past-President of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association for the 2013-2014 year. She has also served as the Chapter Representative for JWLA to the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and as the FAWL liaison to the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. Kate Mesic has served on the Membership Advancement and Promotion Committee and has previously Chaired the Young Lawyers Division Committee for FAWL. She currently serves on the Governance committee and on the Fast Track Subcommittee, which deals with urgent issues referred by the Board of FAWL.
She and her husband reside on the Southside of Jacksonville. They enjoy traveling the United States, hiking and enjoying music from all over the world. Mrs. Mesic is fluent in Russian and is able to competently translate both legal and civil documents.

Attorney Mesic is the Immediate Past President of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association. She serves as the current Chapter Representative for JWLA to the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and as the FAWL liaison to the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. Since 2003, Attorney Mesic also serves on the executive board of the University of North Florida Pre-Law Program Board of Advisors. Kate works closely with the students of the UNF Pre-Law Program to help them achieve their goals of going to law school. Shel also is a frequent guest speaker in a variety of UNF classes.
Kate Mesic an active member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and the Small Business Resource Network of Northeast Florida. She has also previously served on the Board of the Women Business Owners of Northeast Florida as Government Relations Chair. Attorney Mesic remains an active member of WBO.
